Avoiding Loan Penalties

Monday, April 28th, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Kenny]Joseph Kenny Have you ever been late on a loan repayment? It seems that just at the time that you need it least, banks and other lenders slap hefty charges on your account. This is the last thing you need, especially when youre finding it difficult to keep up with your repayments. Its like a spiral, youre late on a payment, so you get a late fee, then the fee makes it harder to meet your next payment so you get another late fee, or a late fee from one of your other accounts. Before you know it all your money is going on late fees instead of on the payments themselves. So how do you deal with this situation? Well the first thing to know is that you can never be charged a late fee for being late on repaying an existing late fee. For example, suppose you owe $100 on a credit card. If you were late you might incur a $20 late fee. On your next month youll still owe the $100 plus interest, but youll also owe the $20 late fee. If you only have enough for the $100 plus interest, pay that, and tell the lender in your bill payment that its for your regular payment. Youll still owe the $20 late fee, but you cant be charged a late fee for not repaying it on time. So a piece of advice if youve got more than one account, is to try and stay up to date on all but the late one. Dont be late on one account this month, and another account next month. Stay late on the same account for both months. The reason for this is that the account youre late on can only charge you so many fees. If you let yourself get late on different accounts, each of them can slap you with fees. What You Should Do If You Cant Pay On Time If you think youre going to be late on a repayment, the best thing you can do is call the creditor and tell them. This is a lot better than if you simply allow the bill to go unpaid without any explanation. Many creditors will allow you to reschedule your payments, or give you extra time without charging you for this. They prefer to work with you on getting the bill paid, rather than letting the bill go unpaid and leaving them in the dark as to your intention. If the creditor youre going to be late on doesnt allow you to reschedule the payments, you might want to try with another of your creditors, and then let that one get a bit late instead. Honeymoons in Hawaii - Year-Round Favorites

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

By Randy Wilson Honeymoons in Hawaii are being chosen from couples marrying in all seasons, from blushing June brides to red-nosed December brides. The lush island state has many faces, from its remote and isolated beaches to the hot, hip, and happening of downtown Honolulu, the state’s capital. Consisting of numerous islands, the archipelago state usually draws visitors to its four main islands: Oahu, the Big Island of Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui. Each of these islands has a special aspect that attracts couples seeking different types of Honeymoons in Hawaii, from the adventurous to the romantic. If you are looking to include several islands in your honeymoon, consider taking a cruise around the island state. Cruise ships depart from Honolulu’s historic Aloha Tower and embark on a multi-island itinerary, docking at major ports on the major islands. These cruises are an excellent way to see more than one island, since you do not have to switch hotel rooms or wait in airports for tiny commuter flights. Many honeymooners opt to cruise because of the all-inclusive nature of the boats, lumping meals, drinks, and activities into the price. Another way to see the islands is by commuter flight. All of the islands have airports and commercial flight services ready to take you wherever your heart desires. Since most of the island airports are commuter airports, the usual hassle associated with air travel is nonexistent. Also, commuter flights allow you to spend as long as you wish on each island without having to worry about ships leaving port and leaving you behind. Most couples that choose Honeymoons in Hawaii end up on Oahu. Known as the Gathering Place, Oahu is home to the state’s capital, Honolulu, and the world-famous Waikiki Beach. For city slickers, the Waikiki area is a dream come true, with world class shopping, five star restaurants, and luxurious hotels and resorts at every turn. Consider staying in two of the oldest hotels on the island, the lusciously pink Royal Hawaiian Hotel and the historic Moana Surfrider, both considered the Grand Ladies of Waikiki. For an alternative view of Oahu, head up to the North Shore, where each winter, massive waves bring surfers from all over the world. When these beasts roll into the shore, popular surfing tournaments take place, with professional surfers trying to tame the overwhelming force of the ocean. Also on Oahu is the Dole Plantations, where pineapples dot the country side. It is also home to the somber memorial to the Japanese attack on the United States on December 7, 1941. The fallen USS Arizona lies buried beneath the waters of Pearl Harbor and a remarkable monument to those sailors, soldiers, airmen, and marines that fell during the surprise attack. If you would rather trade in the crowds, traffic, and noise of Oahu for a more serene environment, head to Kauai, the Garden Isle. This green sanctuary is perfect for the couple who wants to experience the natural beauty of the islands without the added glitz and glamour of commercialization. Sunbathe at secluded beaches, visit the undersea worlds that wait beneath the deep blue sea, or check out the natural wonders the island has to offer, such as the exotic Fern Grotto or the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. For an adventure seeking couple, be sure to at least make a stop on the Big Island of Hawaii. Home to the countrys only actively erupting volcano, much of the eastern side of the island is occupied by the ancient goddess Pele, who spurts red hot lava into the sea to continue to expand the mass of the island. This island is also the location of the southernmost point in the United States, Kau, as well as numerous coffee plantations in the rainforest environment of Kona. Consider taking a breathtaking helicopter ride above the flowing lava or indulge in spa treatments that use the naturally occurring black sand. The fourth major island in the Hawaiian archipelago is the island of Maui. Rich in fishing and whaling history, any couple who Honeymoons in Hawaii should visit the quaint village of Lahina, now packed with unique boutiques and scrumptious restaurants. The town of Maui is generally preferred by visitors, since it is the perfect combination of city and country. Copyright Randy Wilson, All Rights Reserved. Why Choose Discount Duvet Covers?

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008

By Neil Day Buying all new bedding can quickly add up to a hefty expense. If you really are trying to cut corners without compromising quality consider purchasing a cheap duvet cover. A cheap discount duvet cover can be an economical choice for people who want to achieve a new look for their bedroom without spending a lot of money. There are some tricks to making a cheap duvet cover work well with your bedroom. Most people choose the colors of their bedroom walls before they purchase the bedding. One way to save money is to buy a cheap cover first and then plan the rest of the room. Once a year most major department stores will have a bedding sale. If you can wait to redesign your bedroom until this time you will save a substantial amount of money. Many vendors now have online stores where they sell all kinds of linens and beddings. Regardless of where you find your duvet cover youll appreciate the money youve saved. When looking to buy a discount duvet cover, there are many sources you can try to get yourself the best deal possible on the quality time you are looking for. The most common sources are discount stores. A lot of these places receive overruns. Wanting to not have them in stock, they sell them for less to the discount stores. Buying this way, you may get fewer choices, but youll get a good quality discount duvet cover. Another place to look to save money on your purchase is bedding websites. They dont have the same overheads as stores do, so they can afford to lower the prices and sell you a discount duvet cover. Even fine bedding stores will have sales periodically where they will sell you a discount duvet cover. They will lower prices during off-season to encourage purchases or if they find themselves overstocked. A good opportunity to buy a discount duvet cover can be when a store is going out of business. Neil Day is a successful Webmaster and publisher of Discount Duvet Covers He provides more free information on cheap duvet covers, kids duvet covers and designer duvet covers that you can research on his website. Extreme Exercises May Harm Teens

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

By John Frazer Theres little doubt about the health benefits of exercises but in an effort to control their weight, some teens workout compulsively. Over-exercising especially coupled with an eating disorder, can lead to stress on the heart, according to Akron Children Hospital in Ohino. Your childs exercise routine may have turned into an unhealthy obsession if he or she: Forces herself to work out, even if she doesnt feel well. Choose exercise over spending time with friends. Becomes upset over a missed work out. Bases the amount she exercises on how much she eats. Has trouble sitting still because she doesnt think shes burning enough calories. Is never satisfied with her physical achievements. Uses diet aids, steroids or chemicals to help enhance her physique. If this sounds like your child, discuss the problem with her doctor. Its the no-diet diet, an approach the Brigham Young University health science professor used to lose 50 pounds and to keep it off for more than five years. Hawks calls his plans intuitive eating and thinks the rest of the country would be better off if the people stopped counting calories, started paying attention to hunger pangs and ate whatever they wanted. The Exotic Appeal Of Puerto Rico Destination Weddings

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

By Shaunta Pleasant It is no wonder that Puerto Rico destination weddings are so incredibly popular these days, with both natives and non-natives alike. After all, the island of Puerto Rico offers a rare combination of the most modern conveniences and a lush, untouched tropical beauty. In addition, there are many resort hotels on the island of Puerto Rico who specialize in producing some of the most magnificent of destination weddings. The Increasing Popularity Of Puerto Rico Weddings In addition, many people living in other parts of the world originally from Puerto Rico and the desire to get back to their roots have also contributed to the popularity of destination weddings in this tropical paradise. Another reason for the increasing popularity of Puerto Rico destination weddings is the availability of comparatively affordable hotel rooms. Puerto Rico is home to a great many hotels and resorts, with more hotel rooms coming on the market every day. This has made Puerto Rico destination weddings among the most affordable for many brides and grooms, as well as those in their wedding parties and their invited guests. Planning The Perfect Wedding With A Wedding Planner There are several options available when it comes to booking one of these great Puerto Rico destination weddings. Perhaps the easiest way to bring such a wedding off without a hitch is to hire one of the many wedding consultants who work in Puerto Rico. Often these wedding consultants are working as employees of the resort, while at other times they may work independently. Either way, there are a number of excellent wedding planners available to take charge of every aspect of planning the perfect wedding, from ordering the cake and catering the food, to taking care of the wedding videos and photographs. Planning Your Puerto Rico Wedding On Your Own Another option is to plan the Puerto Rico destination wedding on your own, and this is certainly possible, especially for those who have friends and family on the island. Even for those without a local connection, the internet has made it easier than ever before to book hotel rooms, find scheduled flights, book resort hotels and do all the other things necessary to enjoy a great beach wedding in Puerto Rico. Genetically Based Sin

Sunday, April 13th, 2008

By Joseph Perrello Some time ago, I read with interest the comments someone sent to a large urban newspaper. They had to do with the writer’s concern on the implications of genetic research on the prevailing ideas regarding sin and man’s free will. Is humanity really responsible for some acts condemned by the Western religions? A United Methodist bishop also was quoted as wondering if sin is centered exclusively in free will. The Apostle Paul, the Church’s quintessential theologian would have no argument with the idea of genetically based sin. Such discoveries verify his teachings, long recorded in his Epistle to the Romans, that due to The Fall the human race is “sold under sin.” Paul wrote that, by its own volition, humanity is unable to practice the morality demanded by God, since the sin principle (Paul uses the term: “The law of sin and death”) is so dominant a factor in human nature that, without submission to the Spirit of God through Christ Jesus, men are unable to free themselves of its clutches. The human mind indeed may will to achieve the demands of God’s moral law, but the sin factor [genetically based sin] in fallen humanity does not permit it. A regeneration and transformation through Jesus Christ - a rebirth, if you prefer - is necessary. The Apostle Paul put it this way, “So I find that this law is at work: when I want to do what is good, that evil is the only choice I have. My inner being delights in the law of God. But I see a different law at work in my body - a law that fights against the law which my mind approves of. It makes me a prisoner to the law of sin which is at work in my body . . .” (Romans 7:21-23; Good News Bible). Paul’s solution? “There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Jesus Christ. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Jesus Christ, has set me free from the law of sin and death. What the law [the moral code] could not do, because human nature was weak, God did . . .” (Romans 8:1-3; Good News Bible; brackets added by the author). Yes, indeed! The genes of our race are programmed to sin! God understands this, and He has mandated a reprogramming through the Holy Spirit of those who are born again through Jesus Christ. It is for neglecting to avail one’s self of benefits of this reprogramming that a person is charged by God with guilt. Who knows? As scientist continue their search they yet may verify other long-scorned Biblical truths, such as life after death, the reality of heaven, and - now be nice, Josprel - perhaps even Hell and the Lake of Fire. -30- Josprel (Joseph Perrello)josprel@verizon.net A prolific writer, many of Josprel’s stories and articles have appeared in print and on the internet. He is an ordained minister living in Western New York. Josprel served three years with the U.S. Air Force, stationed in the Far East. Upon returning home, he studied for the ministry under the G.I. Bill of Rights. He holds a Master of Theology degree, ministers with the Evangelical denomination of his youth, and is authoring two novels: “Beloved Apostate” and “Kanfal.” Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Perrello http://EzineArticles.com/?Genetically-Based-Sin&id=185074 where to purchase phentermine discount phentermine online buy phentermine on line phentermine 30mg without prescription

Does it Matter that She’s 10 Years Older?

Friday, April 11th, 2008

By Peter Portero When it comes to dating and love, the only real thing that matters is how your partner makes you feel. That being said, when you date an older woman, your family and friends might give you a hard time. Dating someone ten years older than you is not really that big of a deal, as long as you are over 35 years old. If you try to date someone ten years older than you before the age of 35, things could be a little more complicated. Once you hit 35, you are likely to get wiser over the next years of your life, but you probably wont get any more mature. Before hitting 35, you are going through life at different maturity levels. If you are especially mature for your age, then you might be able to get away with dating a woman ten years older than you before the defining age of 35, but it is not common. The problem that occurs most of the time is simply that typically women mature faster than men and when your woman is already ten years ahead, you could have problems. A woman ten years older than you may be ready to settle down while you may not be. Overall however, it is just an individual to individual thing. Check out our Tips For Your Online Dating Profile. What Are Perfumes?

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

By Roman Franczak According to Wikipedia Perfume is a mixture of fragrant essential oils and aroma compounds, fixatives, and solvents used to give the human body, objects, and living spaces a pleasant smell. The word perfume comes from Latin per fume, meaning through smoke. The art of making perfumes (perfumery) began in ancient Egypt and was later improved by the Romans and the Arabs. The process of extracting oils from flowers by distillation was introduced by an Iranian doctor named Avicenna. This is the procedure that is most commonly used today. The first modern perfume, made of scented oils blended in an alcohol solution was made in 1370 in Hungry and was known throughout Europe as Hungary Water. The perfumery continued to develop in Renaissance Italy and from 16th century also in France. The cultivation of flowers for perfume essences grew into a major industry in the southern France. Today, France remains the center of the European perfume design and trade. The exact formulas of fragrances are kept secret by designer houses. However, some perfume experts can identify components and origins of scents in the same way as wine Testers. Perfume classifications In general, perfumes can be classified according to their concentration level and the notes of scent. Perfume oils are diluted, mostly by ethanol or a mixture of ethanol and water because undiluted they can cause allergic reactions or damage to the skin and clothing. Here is the perfume concentration level chart: Pure perfume: 20 40 % aromatic oils Eau De Parfum: 10 30 % aromatic oils Eau De Toilette: 5 20 % aromatic oils Eau De Cologne: 2 5 % aromatic oils Fragrance houses assign different concentration levels for the same perfume category. An Eau De Toilette from one house may be stronger than an Eau De Parfum from another. There are three different classifications of perfume according to their scents: traditional, created around 1900, modern, since 1945, and so called Fragrance wheel created in 1983. The Fragrance wheel is widely used in the retail and the fragrance industry today. There are five standard categories: Floral, Oriental, Woody, Fresh, and Fougere (with the Fougere family placed in the center of this wheel since usually contain fragrance elements from each of the other four families). Perfumes are described also by its three notes: top, middle and base. The notes unfold over time, with the immediate impression of the top notes, then the deeper middle notes and finally the base notes gradually appearing as the final stage. These notes are chosen very carefully with knowledge of the evaporation process of the perfume. Top notes are perceived immediately on application of the fragrance and thus, they are very important in the selling of the perfume. Middle and base notes together are the main theme of the perfume. Sources of essential oil. Barks: Commonly used barks are cinnamon and cascarilla and also sassafras root bark. Flowers and blossoms: These are the largest source of aromatic oils. Rose, jasmine, osmanthus, mimosa, tuberose and blossom of citrus and ylang-ylang trees are commonly used in fragrance industry. Fruits: Fresh fruits like apples, strawberries, and cherries do not yield odors well and usually are obtained synthetically. Exceptions include litsea cubeba, vanilla, and juniper berry and the most commonly used oranges, limes and grapefruit. Leaves and twigs: Commonly used are lavender leaf, patchouli, sage, violets, rosemary, and citrus leaves. Resins: Commonly used resins in perfumery are labdanum, frankincense, myrrh, Peru balsam, gum benzoin and also pine and fir. Roots, rhizomes and bulbs: Iris rhizomes, vetiver roots are very often used for perfumes. Seeds: Tonka bean, coriander, caraway, nutmeg, mace, cardamom and anise. Woods: Very important in providing base notes. Commonly used woods include sandalwood, rosewood, agarwood, birch, cedar, juniper and pine. Ambergris: Commonly called amber is obtained from Sperm Whale. Castoreum: Obtained from the odorous sacs of the North American beaver. Civet: Obtained from the odorous sacs of the civets (family of Mongoose). Honeycomb: Distilled from the honeycomb of the Honeybee. Musk: Originally obtained from the musk odorous sacs from Asian musk deer, but now replaced by synthetic musk. Lichens: Lichen is a sort of fungus growing in patches on the trees and rocks. Commonly used lichens are oakmoss and treemoss thalli. Protists: Seaweed is commonly used as an essential oil in perfumes. Synthetic sources: Created through organic synthesis from petroleum distillates or pine resins. They can provide scents which are not found in nature. Synthetic scents are often used as an alternative source of compounds that are not easily obtained from natural sources. Typical examples include musk, orchid scents, linalool and coumarin. Perfume oils usually contain tens to hundreds of ingredients. The modern perfumes and colognes are made using the fragrance oils developed by fragrance houses. The fragrance oils are then blended with ethyl alcohol and water for a minimum of 14 days and filtered to remove any unwanted particles and then filled into the perfume bottles. In recent years, celebrities have signed contracts with perfume houses to give their names for the perfumes as a self-promotion campaign. Some of the most popular celebrity-named perfumes include Antonio Banderas (Spirit), David Backham (Instinct), Celine Dion (Celine Dion Notes, Celine Dion Belong), Paris Hilton (Paris Hilton, Just Me Paris Hilton), Jennifer Lopez (JLo Glow, Still, Miami Glow, Love At First Glow), Britney Spears (Fantasy, In Control, In Control Curious), Elizabeth Taylor (Passion, White Diamonds, Forever Elizabeth), Maria Sharapova (Maria Sharapova) and many more.
